Resin Pictures Workshop
In this resin workshop you will be using a 3D printed picture outline and resin to create a beautiful picture. You will use colours, mica powders, glitters, metallic sheet and resin and glass chips. There will be a range of pictures to choose from including sunflower, hearts and tulips. We will be in touch soon after booking to give you the options for your picture.
This workshop is suitable for beginners or those that have worked with epoxy before, Full instructions given and hot drinks included.

Lino Printing - Tote Bag and Cards
Learn the basics of lino printing and have a go at creating your designs by cutting the lino and rolling/printing. Create a selection of greetings cards, prints and a note book with your design.
This workshop is aimed at adults and children ages 12+
Get Crafty at The Kings Head
Join us at The Kings Head to craft while enjoying some social time and a beer or two! Each month we will be bringing our craftiness round the corner and up the hill to share with you and we can’t wait! Just £5 per person for the crafts.

8th June - Circular Weaving. Create a beautiful textured piece of art on a wooden frame. We will bring a wide range of wools, ribbons, yarn and fabric but you are welcome to bring anything you’d like to add too.
13th July - Rag Rugging. We will be using latch hooks and hessian along with macrame yarn, t-shirt yarn and ribbons to create beautiful textured pictures or pot stands.
17th August - Quilling. Learn the art of quilling and use it to make cards of a picture.

Clay Trinkets and Decorations - Making
Week 1 - 16th July, Making
In this workshop you will be creating air dry clay trinket dishes and decorations using cutters, stamps and textured rollers. You can add words and letters to your pieces. They will be left with us to dry ready for week 2, or you can collect them from us to paint at home.
Week 2 - 30th July, Painting
This week we will be painting and varnishing our clay pieces. If you would like to just come to this week then we will have some pieces made for you to paint. You may need to leave some of your pieces with us after the workshop for paints and varnish to dry, to be collected from the next day.

Our Full Day Art & Craft Days are back for the summer! One day each week of the summer holiday we are hosting a full day art and craft club. You can choose from two hour sessions, or the full day, 10am - 3pm. If you need an earlier or later drop off please get in touch to discuss.
On these days children will use a range of arts and crafts techniques and medium to create a variety of pieces. We will also have board games available for those that would like to take a break from the arts and crafts.
The two hour sessions are generally suitable for ages 4+ though we ask for an adult to stay for ages 4 - 6. Children ages 7+ can be left with us and may also stay over the lunch break. In this case please send them with a packed lunch, water and snacks. We have refreshments such as squash, crisps, cookies, and cakes available in the shop so your child may wish to bring some spending money.
If your child has younger siblings you are welcome to bring them and play in our snug during the workshops.

Learn how to create macrame pieces and make your own plant or bottle holder.
We will start by showing you how to complete a larks head knot, hitch knot and half hitch knot, then use these skills to create a keyring. You will then be ready to start on your plant or bottle holder.

Fused Glass Suncatchers Drop In
This summer join us to make your own fused glass suncatcher. Choose your glass shapes and colours to create a beautiful suncatcher. These will be kiln fired for you and ready to collect at a later date. Slots are running through the day with two slots per half hour. If you would like more than two to come at the same time then get in touch and we can arrange it.
Suitable for ages 8+
Younger siblings are welcome to come at the same time and choose from our drop in boxes.

Tweens & Teens Tote Bags
In this tweens & Teens workshop children ages 11+ can create their own tote bags using paints, pens, stamps and stencils. They can design and create two tote bags each if time allows.
Tweens & Teens Silver Rings
This is a fantastic opportunity for teens aged 13+ to make their own silver rings. They will start by measuring, cutting and soldering a single silver ring, adding texture before it is polished. If there is time they will then create a second ring which will be a wraparound style. Depending on time their soldered ring may need to be collected at a later date when it has finished polishing in the tumbler.

Silver Jewellery Workshop - Ring and Silver Clay Topper
In this workshop you will be using silver clay to create a topper for a ring. You will measure, shape, solder and texture your own ring and then attach your topper. Your ring will then be tumbled to make it nice and shiny! You can stay for this part or collect it at a later date.
All materials and tuition is included. As there are hazardous tools using such as saws and blow torches this workshop is recommended for adults, however responsible young adults ages 16 and 17 can also take part with a parent - both parent and child will need tickets.

Crafternoon Tea
June Crafternoon Tea with Imogen Joyce
We have a fabulous range of local artists joining us for these sessions to bring you something new each month. Alongside the different art and craft activities you will be served a delicious afternoon tea of sandwiches, cake, brownies, scones with jam and cream and of course Yorkshire tea or freshly ground coffee,
5th July - Botanical art with Imogen Joyce. Take inspiration from plants and flowers that will be on the tables to paint your own canvas board or create small watercolour pictures and add them to greeting cards.
2nd August - Trinkets with L Stygall Art. Paint your own trinket dish with guidance from Libby, using acrylic paints and quality brushes. Trinkets will be sprayed with a sealer to keep your designs as new.
6th September - Wooden designs with Where the Wildlings Roam. Portia will be bringing along beautiful wooden plaques that have been burned with her beautiful designs. You will then use acrylic paints and quality brushes to paint your designs, with Portia on hand to offer any help and guidance.

In this workshop we will be using professional watercolour paints together with quality paper to create a range of tags, gift bags and greetings cards. Why not paint beautiful flowers, mushrooms, whimsical birds or balloons to add to your items.

Sewing Workshop - Raw Edge Applique
Join us for a fun sewing workshop suitable for beginners. Use patterned fabrics to create pictures using sewing machine embroidery. For complete beginners we will start by showing you how to use a sewing machine. You can use one of ours (machines will be allocated one between two) or bring your own. When you have got to grips with the basics it’s time to sew. Cut and layer fabric, sewing as you go to create lovely greeting cards.

Join this monthly pottery workshop with Katherine Staples to make different pieces and learn different techniques each month.
In Junes session you will be making a platter and pinch pots. You will learn to form and shape your pieces before adding texture, surface design and coloured slip.
